The Next Phase for Joss Whedon

It's official.  Joss Whedon has signed on to work on Avengers 2, as well as working very closely with Marvel to develop a live action television series for ABC.  He is also going to be working very closely with the movie side of Marvel assisting with the next phase of the universe.

Joss Whedon... You are my hero.

Honestly, as a Whedon fan from deep down and way back, I am beyond excited to hear about his latest projects.  Although, it was rumored and sort of confirmed at Comic Con last month that the next project he will be working on is a sequel to Dr. Horrible, I have no doubt that we will be seeing something from Joss very soon.  And as a fan, I don't think it matters what he does next because it will pretty much be totally freakin' awesome.  Undoubtedly.

And I love that Joss is always keeping busy, always trying to tell all the stories that need to be told.  Yup.  Joss, you're my hero.
